According to Chief representative and Executive Director of The German Trade Office Taipei (AHK in German), Mr.Axel Limberg, when trying to promote German business and investment in Taiwan during the pandemic, they face the challenges of sending business delegations from Taiwan to Germany and vice versa. Another challenge is they are unable to arrange German politicians to come to Taiwan as the visit is an opportunity to promote Taiwan. Also during the pandemic, with the travel restrictions, trade fairs and related events are cancelled as well.
