B.DANCE artistic director, Po-Cheng Tsai and his group B.DANCE has toured 45 cities in 21 countries, with their 235 performances receiving multiple awards and enthusiastic reviews across Europe. Due to the pandemic, B.DANCE has cancelled 60 performances, but Po-Cheng still got the chance to go to Europe to create the wonderful “Alice” for Luzerner Theater. The on line world premiere of Alice in Taiwan in August received a wide acclaim with 7.7 K views on YouTube and 1K on Facebook. The next production “Before we say goodbye”, the biggest production of this year, will be premiered on Oct.30 at Taipei Culture Center. The artistic director and choreographer of B.DANCE, Po-Cheng Tsai has been named best new choreographer by the French Critics Association of Theater, Dance, and Music in 2020 and one of the world’s most influential young choreographers by German dance magazine Tanz in 2018.
