
Taipei Mayor Ko Wen-je has tried out new technologies at the 2019 Future Commerce expo, which kicked off in Taipei Thursday.
The annual show provides a platform for tech companies from Taiwan and abroad to present their latest consumer technologies. This year, over 100 companies have brought their latest products and services. These companies come from a variety of sectors, including 5G communication, big data processing, and artificial intelligence.
After speaking at the expo’s opening ceremony, Ko tested several new gadgets, including virtual reality goggles.
