The number of Taiwanese students studying in the US is at an eight-year high. That was the word from the US-based Institute of International Education on Monday.

40% of Taiwanese students in the US are there for graduate school, while a further 31% are pursuing an undergraduate degree. Meanwhile, 22% are participating in post-graduate Optional Practical Training, while 7% are taking part in non-degree programs.
