Staś was born and raised in London, UK in a family of BBC journalists. He gave his first radio interview at the age of three, and hasn’t looked back since.
Staś graduated top of his year from the University of Oxford with a degree in Russian and Arabic. As part of his studies, he spent months living in Jordan and Russia. After graduation, Staś moved to Taiwan to begin studying Mandarin on a Huayu Scholarship. A year later, he won the National Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall 2020 International Students Chinese Public Speaking Competition. He began working for RTI the following month.
In his spare time, Staś enjoys studying languages, reading novels, and playing pool. He also writes and performs in a Taipei-based comedy group.
