Coming Full Circle: A Shape You Can Eat

How many round foods can you think of? Are they spherical or just circular? Cookies, meatballs, tangyuan; round foods are popular across all cuisines, and often hold cultural significance. In today’s Feast, we’ll find out why.


Today’s menu: In our first course, we’ll tell you about the significance of circles in Chinese culture. In our second course, we’ll sample some circular treats here in the studio. And in our third and final course, we’ll discuss what it means to “come full circle”.
