Taiwan is about to make a historic decision on same-sex marriage as the May 24 deadline approaches. Lawmakers are rushing to pass one of three draft bills in order to satisfy a ruling the high court filed two years ago. Voting will take place on Friday.


Another top story this week is Taiwan being shut out of the WHO’s World Health Assembly, which begins in Geneva next Monday. In today’s show, we offer talking points for why Taiwan should have a seat at the table.
