Ms.Tania Berchem, the executive director of Luxembourg Trade and Investment Office (LTIO) Taipei said Taiwan-Luxembourg working holiday program was signed last year and went into effect this year. The program allows young Taiwanese and Luxembourgers, aged between 18 and 30 to travel and work in Luxembourg and Taiwan respectively for up to one year.

People to people contact has further been enhanced with the cooperation of art and culture. In April, the Luxembourg Museum of Modern Art and the Taipei Fine Arts Museum (TFAM) launched the solo exhibition of Su-Mei Tse (謝素梅) at the museum in Taipei. Su-Mei Tse is a Luxembourgish artist who has been awarded with the Golden Lion for the best national performance at Venice Biennale in 2003. The exhibition in Taipei will run until the end of July.
