The legislature just passed a law to declassify documents related to tens of thousands of sensitive names and phrases in Taiwan's authoritarian era. On Sunday, President Tsai Ing-wen presided over a ceremony clearing the name of over 3000 people wrongly accused of political crimes. These are just some of the recent moves to enact transitional justice in Taiwan.
