Sharon Ho: Closer Taiwan and Malaysia exchanges in 2020

Malaysian representative Sharon Ho said Malaysia My Second Home that began in 2012 is aimed at foreign residents who plan to reside in Malaysia for a long period and not for s short stay. The program is recognized by more than 100 countries and Taiwan is one of the top ten partners with around 1300 participants. Sharon Ho said that cultural exchange between Taiwan and Malaysia have been vibrant and she cited an example of Taiwan X Malaysia Musician Exchange held in August. In education, Taiwanese students have shown growing interest in Malaysia by attending summer programs. Malaysian representative Sharon Ho said next year is Visit Malaysia 2020 and she hopes to showcase Malaysia to the Taiwanese and encourage more tourism-related investment as well as enhance cultural and educational exchanges.
