It's exam season across Taiwan. And invariably, that means that Taiwan's Confucius Temples are busy with nervous students- and their parents- praying to the ancient sage for good results. But why? It's not clear whether Confucius himself had any religious beliefs, and in any case, what’s he got to do with exams? Here this week to clear things up is Mr. Chen, executive secretary of Taipei's Confucius Temple, one of the most famous anywhere in Taiwan.
