This dark, bitter dessert has a propitious name that sounds like "back to zero", perfect for celebrating zero new cases of COVID-19 in Taiwan!

Earlier this month, Taiwan began celebrating days on which there are ZERO new cases of COVID-19. We’ve seen a full month of no new domestic cases and at least a week of no cases at all. In today's Feast: a look at foods we've been using to celebrate!

Today’s menu: In our first course, we’ll tell you about some of the symbolic foods that people are eating to celebrate zero new cases. In our second course we’ll tell you about a refreshing summer treat whose name sounds like "back to zero": Guilingao!
