Steev Kindwald brings a unique fusion of ancient folk traditions and contemporary sounds. Drawing on his diverse cultural heritage from Romania, Germany, Scotland, and England, Steev plays various traditional instruments, including the Jaw Harp and Double Flute, which are deeply rooted in his ancestors' farming and herding cultures. Over the last thirteen years, he has immersed himself in the folk and tribal music of Asia, blending influences from Indonesia, India, Myanmar, and beyond into his distinctive style, which combines rhythmic jazz, gypsy cadence, and harmonic drones. Through his music, Steev invites listeners on a sound journey, celebrating timeless traditions while creating something new and evocative.
