A whole year dealing with a global pandemic has left us feeling both physically and mentally numb. So in today's Feast, we turn our attention to a SPICE that will shift the numb to our tongues!


TODAY'S MENU: In our first course, we put our tastebuds to the test by sampling ground Sichuan peppercorns, known for their numbing powers. In our second course, we tell the tale of Mapo Tofu, a dish named for it's pock-marked inventor, and packed full of numbing peppers and spices. And in our third and final course, we'll be sampling the dish right in the studio. Get ready to lose all sensation!
