Taiwanese tennis star Lu Yen-hsun has won his second men's doubles title at the Aircel Chennai Open in India. Following the victory on Sunday, Lu and his British partner Jonathan Marray, are now ranked number one in the world, in the ATP men's doubles rankings.

In their final match on Sunday, Lu and Marray beat the top-seeded duo from South Africa and India to become champions. Lu and Marray said they were happy to win an ATP title their first time playing as partners.

It was Lu's third title match in the Chennai Open. He first won the men's doubles title at the tournament in 2005, when he partnered with German player Rainer Schuettler. Lu also competed in the 2015 Chennai Open in the singles division, but did not advance beyond the quarterfinals.
